Interesting Designs

For this module I wish to make a portfolio for my brother's illustrations, here are some interesting web page designs that make good use of images and colour:

• http://www.metalabdesign.com/ - This website has a very simplistic design which resembles Apple's iOS theme for iPhone and iPad, the design is clean and downloads in the browser almost instantly, the images/design are not overwhelming, therefore the important information the designer is attempting to get across is easily digestible by the user.
  
• http://www.grzesiowski.pl/ - This shows how important the design of a website actually is. The language of the text is in polish, however, from first look you can tell it is an web-based portfolio.
